We have proudly worked during 13 years architecturing, designing, developing and maintaining these websites.

Wahl Clipper Corporation
An industry leader selling in 165 countries
Wahl Clipper Corporation is an industry leader in the manufacturing of products for the professional beauty and barber salon trade, personal care and animal grooming. Reaching back almost 100 years, their story begun with the invention of the first practical electric hair clipper in 1919.
The commitment of its international websites was a large challenge. After a successful experience with a website we designed for the Argentinean subsidiary, Wahl decided to entrust us the development of the entire international markets.
Starting from scratch
The initial design challenge was to standardize a wide range of existent websites into a new web corporate image. The huge diversity in local styles was leading to an inconsistent brand identity. There were countries with several websites and countries without one. In addition there were different websites for human and animal products, for consumer and profesional lines. Each one had its own approach.
We designed a new corporate visual strategy from scratch and we developed a multisite system incorporating all the current regional contents. Over the years we extended it as new market emerged in new countries.

UX & UI design
The user experience of these websites was the result of the teamwork of 15 people ranging from designers and photographers to programmers and linguists.
Since the beginning of the project they participated in different phases taking care of the information architecture, the content strategy and the visual design.

Designing product lines’ identity
Wahl sells professional and domestic products and has pet and farm animal divisions. The products range from beauty saloon tools to small domestic appliances.
We designed style variations to identify the product lines. And we made photography sessions for their catalogues.
Marketing exchange file systems
Along with the public websites, we developed the company’s file systems. The Marketing Exchange system is used to share files between headquarters and subsidiaries. The Distributors Exchange is used to make marketing materials available to external distributors.

A successful corporate visual strategy
We started designing for a local subsidiary and we grew up creating the entire web identity of an industry leader. The first assignment back in 2004 was small e-commerce. We ended up managing a multi-lingual multi-sites system. The visual identity that we designed was also adopted in the transition to the merging of International and American websites.
